We award the Hertie Prize and various grants to individuals, associations, and initiatives in the field of multiple sclerosis and other nervous system diseases. For over 30 years, the Hertie Foundation has been recognizing people and groups demonstrating exceptional dedication and creativity in the areas of multiple sclerosis and neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., Alzheimer's and Parkinson's). The activities should be as creative, unusual, or characterized by a unique collaboration of diverse individuals as possible. The project's scale is less important than the commitment of those involved.
