The Hertie Foundation sponsors the annual Klaus J. Bade Prize for Young Researchers in Migration and Integration Research, which is awarded in cooperation with the Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research (BIM) at Humboldt-Universität Berlin. This prize honours young academics who have distinguished themselves through outstanding research achievements in migration and integration research, as evidenced by publications. With prize money of 7,500 euros, which is freely available to the prizewinners, the prize recognises innovative work that covers a wide range of perspectives both thematically and methodologically. The prize is aimed at researchers who completed their doctorate no more than five years ago and are working at universities or non-university research institutions in Germany.
Detailed information about this project and our overall activities can be found on the German website.
